Silk Scarves & Shawls

A great, simple, classy scarf to spice up your look.

Navy, black, and gray are the default, sterile shades we see at work. How drab, dull and lifeless is this palette? — blah, blah, boring and it can be depressing, particularly in Seattle without our sunshine.

Why not do your part and add energy, fun and interest to the community? Add a splash of well-placed color and texture to spruce up the day. Your co-workers at the office will appreciate the visual excitement you bring. Little things mean a lot and go a long ways.

Funfettis

The Funfetti’s delicate threads and confetti squares are arranged in rhythmic pattern, making visual music as they dance around your neck. This style is a series of strings that gathers nicely in layers.

Loop de Loop

This fine gauze silk fabric is punctuated by contrasting horizontal strands. Each strand takes turns doing” loop de loops” in the foreground for dramatic look. As light as it is, it is surprisingly warm. It’s great for conferences when the temperatures differentiates 10 degrees from hall to the room.

The best way I have found is to coordinate your ensemble is to wear the color of the big Loop de Loop thread. I prefer to wear one color top and bottom and to let the the shawl be the star. I have not worn the Loop de Loop Shawl without receiving a compliment, ever.

These were made in small village near Hanoi, Vietnam. Sometime, when I make the time, I will show our experience talking to the man who is the same as as Yoda. It was incredible. See the various colors.
