Professional Women’s Safety Class

What would you do if you were followed? What is the safest way to travel? Is your politeness putting you at risk?

The Lynnwood Police Crime Prevention Unit Officer will be at the meeting to talk about ways women, in particular, can keep themselves safer and plan ahead just in case of an emergency.

We travel a lot as speakers and wouldn’t it be smart to take a listen and be safer when we are traveling solo?

This year I participated in the Citizen’s Police Academy in Lynnwood and last year in Seattle. I thought we could all gain value from having this time to talk and discuss how to stay away from vulnerable situations. Bring your scenarios to discuss.
